Where does the money go?
In 2022, the funds received in Kaitlyn's honor went towards a NEW Case Navigator position to assist individuals who are being released from the hospital. The role assists individuals as they transition from hospital to the community. A crucial service that wasn't there for Kaitlyn.

In 2023/2024 - The funds raised went towards a new crisis clinic that opened in Kitchener. See link below. This is a game changer in treating mental health: using a compassionate approach to support individuals who don’t have to go to the hospital. Thank you for those of you who donated to this important cause.

We are currently a not for profit organization working towards our charitable status.

We are so grateful for any support you can provide to our foundation. All funds will go towards the following initiatives this coming year 2024/2025:

-
Supporting the annual Tournament of Hope through purchasing wellness kits and t-shirts for each basketball player
-
Supporting the fees for a guest speaker to speak to 1200 high school students and approximately 225 basketball players
-
Any additional funds will go towards community initiatives that focus on “filling the gaps” in our community such as case navigator positions, programs that support individuals while they are waiting for treatment and home based mental health services that provide hope and compassion to those struggling with mental illness
